We sailed on Icon of the Seas as a family, and it’s one of the best vacations we’ve ever taken. From nonstop activities to incredible entertainment, it’s built for both kids and adults to have an amazing time.
The ship boasts the largest waterpark at sea (Category 6) with six slides, including the first drop slide on a cruise ship. It also features the largest pool at sea (Royal Bay) and the first suspended infinity pool at sea (The Hideaway).

Before going, we thought it might feel crowded or chaotic with how big it is — but it’s the opposite. The ship is designed in neighborhoods, so everything feels spread out and easy to navigate.
There’s always something going on, but you’re never fighting huge crowds or waiting forever for things.

The biggest thing is just how easy everything is.
It’s one of those trips where the kids are nonstop entertained, but the adults still get a real vacation.

There’s honestly no chance of being bored on this ship.

If you’re booking Icon, where you stay matters more than you think.
If you’re unsure, this is where we help clients the most — choosing the right area makes a huge difference in the experience.

Pricing and crowds can vary a lot depending on timing — we help plan around this.

If you’re deciding between cruises, this is one of the easiest recommendations we can make.
It’s fun, easy, and packed with things to do — without feeling stressful or overwhelming. For families, it’s about as close to a “can’t miss” trip as it gets.
